David Benavidez says he “definitely” beat the winner of the Dmitry Bivol vs. Artur Beterbiev trilogy match. Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) is the obligatory WBC for the belt undisputed mild heavyweight champion Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) holds.

Benavidez’s promoter, Sampson Lewkowicz, says a suggestion was made for Benavidez to defend his WBC interim mild heavyweight title subsequent in opposition to Callum Smith.
